Our Founding Story
After years of experience in the luxury events world, Tor Dashwood made it her mission to streamline the process of event planning by distilling the overwhelming wealth of suppliers and knowledge in the industry, and digitalising it into a free and easy-to-use online platform. From her experience, she knew that some of the very best event suppliers are so focused on their craft that they don’t have the time or resources to effectively market themselves – HOPP would be a solution for them also.
Bursting with ideas and insider knowledge, Tor needed a partner to help her make this vision a reality. She approached Ted Morrison who, with his experience in finance and business acumen, would be able to give HOPP the robust business foundations it needed. As a dynamic duo, they got to work. Tor hit the streets to build an ever-growing community of the very best creative and innovative event suppliers while Ted developed the innovative tech- platform that would help propel the events industry into the digital age. Together with their team, Tor and Ted are determined to make the event planning process fun, stress-free and accessible for all.
