FAQ's
We always recommend that you think about your thank you letters when building your wedding list. Would you feel awkward thanking someone for a wooden spoon for example? Afterall, it’s not easy to hype up a wooden spoon. We also recommend avoiding putting on presents that you wouldn’t hesitate to purchase any day of the week, like a wooden spoon!
Personal, tailored, boutique
Yes, we are well versed in celebrity and VIP wedding lists. Privacy and discretion are two of our key USPs.
This really depends on how many guests you are having to your wedding. Your personal wedding list advisor will be able to help guide you on this. As a general rule of thumb, we suggest allowing for 2-3 presents per guest/couple. It’s important that you give your guests plenty of choice. We also really recommend that you include a good variety of price points. It’s important that your wedding list caters to all budgets. Again, this is something your wedding list advisor will help you with. Wedding list etiquette is another one of our USPs.
We would recommend having your gift list ready for when you send out your invitations, (usually about eight to ten weeks before your wedding). Depending on how long you would like to take creating your list, we’d recommend having an appointment with your wedding list advisor (either virtually or in our London showroom) 4-6 months before your wedding. However, we are completely flexible and we can help you build your list as quickly or slowly as you need. You can add presents to your list right up until your wedding day.
Your wedding guests will want to buy you a wedding present to celebrate your marriage. Creating a gift list gives your guests an easy and flexible way to choose wedding presents they know you will love and also need. Even if you already have the basics for your life together, a gift list will enable you to build or upgrade your collection of homewares that you will love, and use, for a lifetime. A gift list also avoids the risk of you ending up with multiples of the same present, or things you simply don’t want.
You can set up your gift list online or in our London Showroom. Here you'll meet your dedicated Wedding List Advisor who will make recommendations for your gift list that are tailored to your tastes and needs. They will curate a selection of your favourite brands to get you started, and introduce you to lesser-known designers we know you’ll love. You'll be able to see presents in person and start adding presents to your wedding list right away. If you can’t make it to our showroom, don’t worry. We offer Virtual Appointments that are just as tailored and bespoke. You’ll still receive the same reassuringly personal service from your Wedding List Advisor. Fill in a short questionnaire and we will send you a bespoke mood board ahead of your appointment. During your appointment, your advisor will have a selection of specially chosen present ideas to share with you, and together you can build your wedding list.
Group Gifting means that your guests can individually contribute to the overall price of a present. You can make any present on your wedding list a Group Gift at the touch of a button. It’s a brilliant option for those extra-special, higher priced presents.
Absolutely. We price our presents using the recommended retail price provided by our suppliers.
Absolutely. In order to do this you would need to choose our ‘Flexible’ wedding list option. We’ll wait until after your wedding to order your presents from our suppliers, which means you’ll be able to swap items bought by your guests. If you want your presents delivered as soon as possible, we recommend choosing our ‘Fixed’ option. This means that we purchase presents as they are bought by your guests, meaning they arrive in our warehouse faster. It does mean that you cannot change your mind on a present once it has been bought from your wedding list.
Most items should arrive quickly in our warehouse, although more bespoke items, and those from further afield, may take between 8-12 weeks to arrive. We keep you updated every step of the way in your personal dashboard in your online account.
Absolutely! We will even give you 10% off the balance of any additional orders you make once you have spent any credit or gift vouchers. This 10% discount is valid for life for orders over £100, perfect for top ups later down the line!
All our deliveries are done by our brilliant in-house delivery team. Our guys in our vans. We deliver after work during the week and at the weekend, we know how busy life can be so we always try our hardest to deliver at a time that suits you!
Absolutely not! You can have as many deliveries as you like. We do recommend that you wait for the majority of your presents to have arrived, especially for your first delivery, as your delivery day is one of the most exciting days!
Absolutely! We are very happy to work with your preferred shipping company or we can arrange this with our shipping company.
